Eyebrow & Bridge Piercings
Eyebrow piercings are typical placed on the outer edge of the brow ridge, usually with a slight angle. The most common complication is jewelry migration as the brow does project from the face and jewelry can be snagged and pulled on easily. Thinning of the tissue or seeing more jewelry and less skin are indicators of migration happening. The healing cycle typically lasts two to three months until full thickness healing is reached.
Bridge piercings are placed through the nasal cartilage right between the eyes. They usually have a much longer healing cycle; four to six months or sometimes longer.
