Navel Piercings
Navel, or bellybutton, piercings are probably one of the most common piercings, but also is one of the most tricky during the healing process. Being right at the center of the body, every time the spine twists, turns and bends; the piercing moves with it, slowing the healing process. The edges of the shirt and the pants can also snag or rub against the piercing complicating the healing. Loose clothes and backing off of extreme physical activity are usually recommended. The healing cycle is commonly between six to nine months until full thickness healing.
